5 And the Lord hath blessed my master wonderfully, and he is become great: and he hath given him sheep and oxen, silver and gold, menservants and womenservants, camels and asses.


4 Which when Abram had heard, to wit, that his brother Lot was taken, he numbered of the servants born in his house, three hundred and eighteen well appointed: and pursued them to Dan.


2 Be converted to me, and you shall be saved, all ye ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is no other.


5 And when Moses saw that the people were naked, (for Aaron had stripped them by occasion of the shame of the filth, and had set them naked among their enemies,)


With whomsoever of thy servants shall be found that which thou seekest, let him die, and we will be the bondmen of my lord.


He did as he had commanded him. And having overtaken them, he spoke to them the same words.


1 We are all the sons of one man: we are come as peaceable men, neither do thy servants go about any evil.


9 In like manner he commanded the second and the third, and all that followed with the droves, saying: Speak ye the same words to Esau, when ye find him.


6 And jacob being angry, said in a chiding manner: For what fault of mine, and for what offense on my part hast thou so hotly pursued me,


8 And she answered: Drink, my lord. And quickly she let down the pitcher upon her arm, and gave him drink.


2 At the same time Abimelech, and Phicol the general of his army said to Abraham: God is with thee in all that thou dost.


2 And she laughed secretly, saying: After I am grown old and my lord is an old man, shall I give myself to pleasure?


And he was very rich in possession of gold and silver.


8 Which she took up and returned into the city, and shewed it to her mother in law: moreover she brought out, and gave her of the remains of her meat, wherewith she had been filled.


Now therefore restore the man his wife, for he is a prophet: and he shall pray for thee, and thou shalt live: but if thou wilt not restore her, know that thou shalt surely die, thou and all that are thins.


The children of Heth answered, saying:


Abraham rose up, and bowed down to the people of the land, to wit the children of Heth:
