2 Abram dwelt in the land of Chanaan; and Lot abode in the towns that were about the Jordan, and dwelt in Sodom.


8 And he hath cast them out of their land, in anger and in wrath, and in very great indignation, and hath thrown them into a strange land, as it is seen this day.


The Lord hath broken the staff of the wicked, the rod of the rulers,


And I will strike the inhabitants of this city, men and beasts shall die of a great pestilence.


6 Therefore her young men shall fall in her streets: and all the men of war shall be silent in that day, saith the Lord of hosts.


And I will send to Babylon fanners, and they shall fan her, and shall destroy her land: for they are come upon her on every side in the day of her affliction.


4 Nun. They have wandered as blind men in the streets, they were defiled with blood: and when they could not help walking in it, they held up their skirts.


8 Thou hast borne thy wickedness, and thy disgrace, saith the Lord God.


Seek ye the Lord, and live: lest the house of Joseph be burnt with fire, and it shall devour, and there shall be none to quench Bethel.


2 If they stood in my counsel, and had made my words known to my people, I should have turned them from their evil way and from their wicked doings.


She hath not hearkened to the voice, neither hath she received discipline: she hath not trusted in the Lord, she drew not near to her God.
