Blessed is he who hath the God of Jacob for his helper, whose hope is in the Lord his God:


4 Call me not away in the midst of my days: thy years are unto generation and generation.


2 The Lord will redeem the souls of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall offend.


Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation; in the day of temptation in the desert,


6 And others tempting, asked of him a sign from heaven.


8 But if I by the Spirit of God cast out devils, then is the kingdom of God come upon you.


4 If there be fifty just men in the city, shall they perish withal? and wilt thou not spare that place for the sake of the fifty just, if they be therein?


And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and magnify thy name, and thou shalt be blessed.


If thou do well, shalt thou not receive? but if ill, shall not sin forthwith be present at the door? but the lust thereof shall be under thee, and thou shalt have dominion over it.


8 If I go forth into the fields, behold the slain with the sword: and if I enter into the city, behold them that are consumed with famine. The prophet also and the priest are gone into a land which they knew not.


0 There is this city here at hand, to which I may flee, it is a little one, and I shall be saved in it: is it not a little one, and my soul shall live?


2 Make haste and be saved there, because I cannot do any thing till thou go in thither. Therefore the name of that city was called Segor.


0 And David's servants came to Abigail to Carmel, and spoke to her, saying: David hath sent us to thee, to take thee to himself for a wife.
