17 7 And they brought him forth, and set him without the city: and there they spoke to him, saying : Save thy life : look not back, neither stay thou in all the country about: but save thyself in the mountain, lest thou be also consumed.

And into what city soever you enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you.


6 And his wife looking behind her, was turned into a statue of salt.


2 Make haste and be saved there, because I cannot do any thing till thou go in thither. Therefore the name of that city was called Segor.


5 And Jesus answering, said to him: Suffer it to be so now. For so it becometh us to fulfill all justice. Then he suffered him.


4 How do you say: We are valiant, and stout men in battle?


And he arose, and ate, and drank, and walked in the strength of that food forty days and forty nights, unto the mount of God, Horeb.


0 And Lot, lifting up his eyes, saw all the country about the Jordan, which was watered throughout, before the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrha, as the paradise of the Lord, and like Egypt as one comes to Segor.


May the Lord keep thy going in and thy going out; from henceforth now and for ever.


6 And when the messengers were come in, they found an image upon the bed, and a goat's skin at its head.


2 And they turned themselves from thence, and went their way to Sodom: but Abraham as yet stood before the Lord.

0 And Lot went up out of Segor, and abode in the mountain, and his two daughters with him, (for he was afraid to stay in Segor,) and he dwelt in a cave, he and his two daughters with him.


1 And immediately as he had made an end of speaking, the earth broke asunder under their feet:


7 She answered and said: My lord, thou didst swear to thy handmaid by the Lord thy God, saying: Solomon thy son shall reign after me, and he shall sit on my throne.


1 But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his justice, and all these things shall be added unto you.
