0 And the Lord said: The cry of Sodom and Gomorrha is multiplied, and their sin is become exceedingly grievous.


6 These are murmurers, full of complaints, walking according to their own desires, and their mouth speaketh proud things, admiring persons for gain's sake.


And when they had gone through the whole island, as far as Paphos, they found a certain man, a magician, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Bar-jesu:


3 Is any of you sad? Let him pray. Is he cheerful in mind? Let him sing.


And I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of the Assyrians, and I will protect it.


8 Neither let Ezechias trouble you, saying: The Lord will deliver us. Have any of the gods of the nations delivered their land out of the hand of the king of the Assyrians?


9 And chains and necklaces, and bracelets, and bonnets,


3 And the men of Sodom were very wicked, and sinners before the face of the Lord, beyond measure.


2 And they said to Lot: Hast thou here ally of thine? son in law, or sons, or daughters, all that are thine bring them out of this city:


5 In the enemy's land, she shall keep a sabbath, and rest in the sabbaths of her desolation, because she did not rest in your sabbaths when you dwelt therein.


1 Because the Lord thy God is a merciful God: he will not leave thee, nor altogether destroy thee, nor forget the covenant, by which he swore to thy fathers.


0 A most insolent nation, that will shew no regard to the ancients, nor have pity on the infant,


0 Thus saith the Lord: Behold I will deliver Pharao Ephree king of Egypt into the hand of his enemies, and into the hand of them that seek his life: as I delivered Sedecias king of Juda into the hand of Nabuchodonosor the king of Babylon his enemy, and that sought his life.


6 He said to the multitude: Depart from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs, lest you be involved in their sins.
