8 So Abram removing his tent came and dwelt by the vale of Mambre, which is in Hebron: and he built there an altar to the Lord.


4 Except such things as the young men have eaten, and the shares of the men that came with me, Aner, Escol, and Mambre: these shall take their shares.


6 The chief baker seeing that he had wisely interpreted the dream, said: I also dreamed a dream, That I bed three baskets of meal upon my heed:


4 And do ye all things without murmurings and hesitations;

5 And he heard my voice, he left the garment that I held, and got him out.


And the Lord appeared to him in the vale of Mambre as he was sitting at the door of his tent, in the very heat of the day.


7 And Abraham took sheep and oxen and gave them to Abimelech: and both of them made a league.


2 And they made a league for the well of oath.


0 For I will stretch forth my hand and will strike Egypt with all my wonders which I will do in the midst of them: after these he will let you go.


8 But it hath very strong inhabitants, and the cities are great and walled. We saw there the race of Enac.


7 Therefore thus saith the Lord: You have not hearkened to me, in proclaiming liberty every man to his brother and every man to his friend: behold I proclaim a liberty for you, saith the Lord, to the sword, to the pestilence, and to the famine: and I will cause you to be removed to all the kingdoms of the earth.


4 And Abraham said: I will swear.


And David said to Achis: But what have I done, and what hast thou found in me thy servant, from the day that I have been in thy sight until this day, that I may not go and fight against the enemies of my lord the king?
