9 And God said: Behold I have given you every herb bearing seed upon the earth, and all trees that have in themselves seed of their own kind, to be your meat:


And the Lord God brought forth of the ground all manner of trees, fair to behold, and pleasant to eat of: the tree of life also in the midst of paradise: and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.


6 And sending away the multitude, they take him even as he was in the ship: and there were other ships with him.


Or how sayest thou to thy brother: Let me cast the mote out of thy eye; and behold a beam is in thy own eye?


0 In the rocks he hath cut out rivers, and his eye hath seen every precious thing.


He that dwelleth in heaven shall laugh at them: and the Lord shall deride them.


And every plant of the field before it spring up in the earth, and every herb of the ground before it grew: for the Lord God had not rained upon the earth; and there was not a man to till the earth.


You ask, and receive not; because you ask amiss: that you may consume it on your concupiscences.

6 And I am not troubled, following thee for my pastor, and I have not desired the day of man, thou knowest. That which went out of my lips, hath been right in thy sight.

7 The first man was of the earth, earthly: the second man, from heaven, heavenly.


2 And the earth brought forth the green herb, and such as yieldeth seed according to its kind, and the tree that beareth fruit having seed each one according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.


The Lord hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength: Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thy enemies: and the sons of the strangers shall not drink thy wine, for which thou hast laboured.
