At the presence of the Lord the earth was moved, at the presence of the God of Jacob:


0 The adversaries of the Lord shall fear him: and upon them shall he thunder in the heavens. The Lord shall judge the ends of the earth, and he shall give empire to his king, and shall exalt the horn of his Christ.


4 I will therefore that the younger should marry, bear children, be mistresses of families, give no occasion to the adversary to speak evil.


I will clothe the heavens with darkness, and will make sackcloth their covering.


5 And the king said to Absalom: Nay, my son, do not ask that we should all come, and be chargeable to thee. And when he pressed him, and he would not go, he blessed him.


8 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.
