2 Now we have received not the spirit of this world, but the Spirit that is of God; that we may know the things that are given us from God.


5 But when it pleased him, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace,


For though I should have a mind to glory, I shall not be foolish; for I will say the truth. But I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he seeth in me, or any thing he heareth from me.


5 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers be transformed as the ministers of justice, whose end shall be according to their works.


Would to God you could bear with some little of my folly: but do bear with me.


4 And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, one that worshipped God, did hear: whose heart the Lord opened to attend to those things which were said by Paul.


Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after justice: for they shall have their fill.


1 Tell me, you that desire to be under the law, have you not read the law?


3 But he who was of the bondwoman, was born according to the flesh: but he of the free woman, was by promise.


7 For it is written: Rejoice, thou barren, that bearest not: break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for many are the children of the desolate, more than of her that hath a husband.


5 Shall have his clothes hanging loose, his head bare, his mouth covered with a cloth, and he shall cry out that he is defiled and unclean.
