6 For then he ought to have suffered often from the beginning of the world: but now once at the end of ages, he hath appeared for the destruction of sin, by the sacrifice of himself.


Therefore, my brethren, you also are become dead to the law, by the body of Christ; that you may belong to another, who is risen again from the dead, that we may bring forth fruit to God.


3 Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have dealt deceitfully. The venom of asps is under their lips.


1 One is the glory of the sun, another the glory of the moon, and another the glory of the stars. For star differeth from star in glory.


3 And they appointed two, Joseph, called Barsabas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias.

And indeed they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is to say, of their brethren: though they themselves also came out of the loins of Abraham.


1 He suffered no man to do them wrong: and reproved kings for their sake.
