If I was not humbly minded, but exalted my soul: As a child that is weaned is towards his mother, so reward in my soul.


2 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.


7 Where is then thy boasting? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith.


9 And he that sent me, is with me, and he hath not left me alone: for I do always the things that please him.


1 For the scripture saith: Whosoever believeth in him, shall not be confounded.


2 And he instructed me, and spoke to me, and said: O Daniel, I am now come forth to teach thee, and that thou mightest understand.


8 For when the just shall depart from his justice, and commit iniquities, he shall die in them.


Is my inheritance to me as a speckled bird? Is it as a bird died throughout? come ye, assemble yourselves, all the beasts of the earth, make haste to devour.


Deliver me from my enemies, O Lord, to thee have I fled:


6 And the enemy death shall be destroyed last: For he hath put all things under his feet. And whereas he saith,


1 Which thou hast commanded by the hand of thy servants the prophets, saying: The land which you go to possess, is an unclean land, according to the uncleanness of the people, and of other lands, with their abominations, who have filled it from mouth to mouth with their filth.


In the day of my trouble I sought God, with my hands lifted up to him in the night, and I was not deceived. My soul refused to be comforted:


2 What shall I render to the Lord, for all the things he hath rendered unto me?


44 Thy testimonies are justice for ever: give me understanding, and I shall live.


4 And I will bring the worse of the nations, and they shall possess their houses: and I will make the pride of the mighty to cease, and they shall possess their sanctuary.


5 And I will remember my former covenant, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt, in the sight of the Gentiles, to be their God. I am the Lord.


6 These are the judgments, and precepts, and laws, which the Lord gave between him and the children of Israel in mount Sinai by the hand of Moses.


0 Did not Achan the son of Zare transgress the commandment of the Lord, and his wrath lay upon all the people of Israel? And he was but one man, and would to God he alone had perished in his wickedness.


And this is the number of them: thirty bowls of gold, a thousand bowls of silver, nine and twenty knives, thirty cups of gold,


3 Thou camest down also to mount Sinai, and didst speak with them from heaven, and thou gavest them right judgments, and the law of truth, ceremonies, and good precepts.
