8 And they set the priests in their divisions, and the Levites in their courses over the works of God in Jerusalem, as it is written in the book of Moses.


2 And I arose in the night, I and some few men with me, and I told not any man what God had put in my heart to do in Jerusalem, and there was no beast with me, but the beast that I rode upon.


And he came lamenting in this manner even to the gate of the palace: for no one clothed with sackcloth might enter the king's court.


4 The wrath of a king is as messengers of death : and the wise man will pacify it.
