6 So all the service of the Lord was duly accomplished that day, both in keeping the phase, and offering holocausts upon the altar of the Lord, according to the commandment of king Josias.


For finding fault with them, he saith: Behold, the days shall come, saith the Lord: and I will perfect unto the house of Israel, and unto the house of Juda, a new testament:


For they could not keep it in its time; because there were not priests enough sanctified, and the people was not as yet gathered together to Jerusalem.


4 Thou shalt keep this thing as a law for thee and thy children for ever.


9 In the eighteenth year of the reign of Josias was this phase celebrated.
