11 But Zorobabel, and Josue, and the rest of the chief of the fathers of Israel said to them: You have nothing to do with us to build a house to our God, but we ourselves alone will build to the Lord our God, as Cyrus king of the Persians hath commanded us.

9 And from the house of Galgal, and from the countries of Geba and Azmaveth: for the singing men had built themselves villages round about Jerusalem.


And I will give thee hidden treasures, and the concealed riches of secret places: that thou mayest know that I am the Lord who call thee by thy name, the God of Israel.


4 And the people murmured against Moses, saying: What shall we drink?


8 And her neighbours and kinsfolks heard that the Lord had shewed his great mercy towards her, and they congratulated with her.


7 For what is the good thing of him, and what is his beautiful thing, but the corn of the elect, and wine springing forth virgins?


1 And I said: How long, O Lord? And he said: Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land shall be left desolate.


God shall reign over the nations: God sitteth on his holy throne.


Now that night the word of God came to Nathan, saying:


5 And they kept the watch of their God, and the observance of expiation, and the singing men, and the porters, according to the commandment of David, and of Solomon his son.


In her houses shall God be known, when he shall protect her.


0 But Josue had commanded the people, saying: You shall not shout, nor shall your voice be heard, nor any word go out of your mouth: until the day come wherein I shall say to you: Cry, and shout.


1 And killed all that were in it, man and woman, young and old. The oxen also and the sheep, and the asses, they slew with the edge of the sword.


5 But the seventh day, rising up early, they went about the city, as it was ordered, seven times.


Blessed be the Lord the God of Israel, who hath accomplished in deed that which he spoke to David my father, saying:


He that worketh pride shall not dwell in the midst of my house: he that speaketh unjust things did not prosper before my eyes.


Or rest to my temples: until I find out a place for the Lord, a tabernacle for the God of Jacob.


And I turned and lifted up my eyes: and I saw, and behold a volume flying.


1 Thus saith the Lord of hosts: Ask the priests the law, saying:
