1 And I saw, and behold there were four wheels by the cherubims: one wheel by one cherub, and another wheel by an- other cherub: and the appearance of the wheels was to the sight like the chrysolite stone:

3 Moses rose up, and his minister Josue: and Moses going up into the mount of God,


I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them that are evil, and thou hast tried them, who say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:


Using hospitality one towards another, without murmuring,


And hath raised us up together, and hath made us sit together in the heavenly places, through Christ Jesus.


6 John answered them, saying: I baptize with water; but there hath stood one in the midst of you, whom you know not.


Woe to him that gathereth together an evil covetousness to his house, that his nest may be on high, and thinketh he may be delivered out of the hand of evil.


Dig thee a way through the wall before their eyes: and thou shalt go forth through it.


You have killed a great many in this city, and you have filled the streets thereof with the slain.


6 Give ye glory to the Lord your God, before it be dark, and before your feet stumble upon the dark mountains: you shall look for light, and he will turn it into the shadow of death, and into darkness.


4 And I will scatter them every man from his brother, and fathers and sons in like manner, saith the Lord: I will not spare, and I will not pardon: nor will I have mercy, but to destroy them.


7 He delivered me from my strongest enemies, and from them that hated me: for they were too strong for me.


And he said to the people: Go, and compass the city, armed, marching before the ark of the Lord.


1 And immediately the sun rose upon him, after he was past Phanuel; but he halted on his foot.


5 And when he saw that he could not overcome him, he touched the sinew of his thigh, and forthwith it shrank.


1 Seeing, saith he, I have once begun, I will speak to my Lord. What if twenty be found there? He said: I will not destroy it for the sake of twenty.


2 And they turned themselves from thence, and went their way to Sodom: but Abraham as yet stood before the Lord.


7 And the Lord said: Can I hide from Abraham what I am about to do:


And when he had lifted up his eyes, there appeared to him three men standing near him: and as soon as he saw them he ran to meet them from the door of his tent, and adored down to the ground.


4 And he cast out Adam; and placed before the paradise of pleasure Cherubims, and a flaming sword, turning every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.


And there appeared in the cherubims the likeness of a man's hand under their wings.


And the wings of one were joined to the wings of another. They turned not when they went: but every one went straight forward.
