Then came in all the king's wise men, but they could neither read the writing, nor declare the interpretation to the king.


7 And it shall come to pass after seventy years, that the Lord will visit Tyre, and will bring her back again to her traffic: and she shall commit fornication again with all the kingdoms of the world upon the face of the earth.


And they shall be afraid, and ashamed of Ethiopia their hope, and of Egypt their glory.


9 In that day there shall be an altar of the Lord in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a monument of the Lord at the borders thereof:


For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth even unto the clouds.


And the Lord said to Moses: Say to Aaron, Stretch forth thy hand upon the streams and upon the rivers and the pools, and bring forth frogs upon the land of Egypt.


And the magicians also by their enchantments did in like manner, and the brought forth frogs upon all the land of Egypt


6 And Moses said: It cannot be so: for we shall sacrifice the abominations of the Egyptians to the Lord our God: now if we kill those things which the Egyptians worship, in their presence, they will stone us.


1 The flax therefore and the barley were hurt, because the barley was green, and the flax was now boiled:


0 And the Lord hardened Pharao's heart, neither did he let the children of Israel go.


2 And removing from thence, they came to the torrent Zared:


1 Now a certain old prophet dwelt in Bethel, and his sons came to him and told him all the works that the man of God had done that day in Bethel: and they told their father the words which he had spoken to the king.
