And I prophesied as he had commanded me: and as I prophesied there was a noise, and behold a commotion: and the bones came together, each one to its joint.


And Jonathan smote the garrison of the Philistines which was in Gabaa. And when the Philistines had heard of it, Saul sounded the trumpet over all the land, saying: Let the Hebrews hear.


4 And the Lord was appeased from doing the evil which he had spoken against his people.


1 And the Lord said to Moses: Stretch out they hand towards heaven: and may there be darkness upon the land of Egypt, so thick that it may be felt.


And the Lord said to Moses: Go in to Pharao; for I have hardened his heart, and the heart of his servants: that I may work these my signs in him.


2 And Pharao's heart was hardened, so that neither this time would he let the people go.


0 And he answered: Tomorrow. But he said: I will do according to thy word; that thou mayst know that there is none like to the Lord our God.


5 And Pharao seeing that rest was given, hardened his own heart, and did not hear them, as the Lord had commanded.


8 Egypt was glad when they departed: for the fear of them lay upon them.
