6 Since the day that I brought my people Israel out of Egypt, I chose no city out of all the tribes of Israel, for a house to be built, that my name might be there: but I chose David to be over my people Israel.


2 And the Lord shall remove men far away, and she shall be multiplied that was left in the midst of the earth.


Solomon also sanctified the middle of the court before the temple of the Lord: for he offered there the holocausts, and the fat of the peace offerings: because the brazen altar, which he had made, could not hold the holocausts and the sacrifices and the fat:


He shall make the two buck goats to stand before the Lord in the door of the tabernacle of the testimony:


And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God, who hath power over these plagues, neither did they penance to give him glory.


And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying :


5 And Solomon said: Blessed be the Lord the God of Israel, who spoke with his mouth to David my father, and with his own hands hath accomplished it, saying:


2 And their whole body, and their necks, and their hands, and their wings, and the circles were full of eyes, round about the four wheels.


3 So it came to pass in the evening, that quails coming up, covered the camp: and in the morning, a dew lay round about the camp.


6 And they shall know that I am the Lord their God, who have brought them out of the land of Egypt, that I might abide among them, I the Lord their God.


0 For as many days soever as the cloud stayed over the tabernacle. At the commandment of the Lord they pitched their tents, and at his commandment they took them down.


For the vineyard of the Lord of hosts is the house of Israel: and the man of Juda, his pleasant plant: and I looked that he should do judgment, and behold iniquity: and do justice, and behold a cry.


For they seek me from day to day, sad desire to know my ways, as a nation that hath done justice, and hath not forsaken the judgment of their God: they ask of me the judgments of justice: they are willing to approach to God.


2 This is the law of the house upon the top of the mountain: All its border round about is most holy: this then is the law of the house.
