3 And the pasch of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.


7 He answering, said: Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with thy whole heart, and with thy whole soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind: and thy neighbour as thyself.


And they were both just before God, walking in all the commandments and justifications of the Lord without blame.


For thou hast given me, O Lord, a delight in thy doings: and in the works of thy hands I shall rejoice.


That they may believe, saith he, that the Lord God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath appeared to thee.


And he said: Put back thy hand into thy bosom. He put it back, and brought it out again, and it was like the other flesh.


2 And one of his servants said: No one, my lord O king: but Eliseus the prophet, that is in Israel, telleth the king of Israel all the words, that thou speakest in thy privy chamber.
