9 To deliver their souls from death; and feed them in famine.

4 Correct me, O Lord, but yet with judgement: and not in fury, lest thou bring me to nothing.


2 Let not the Egyptians say, I beseech thee: He craftily brought them out, that he might kill them in the mountains, and destroy them from the earth: let thy anger cease, and be appeased upon the wickedness of thy people.


Thus saith the Lord of hosts: If thou wilt walk in my ways, and Beep my charge, thou also shalt judge my house, and shalt keep my courts, and I will give thee some of them that are now present here to walk with thee.


9 And he built his sanctuary as of unicorns, in the land which he founded for ever.


And all the people answered together: All that the Lord hath spoken, we will do. And when Moses had related the people's words to the Lord,


I have baptized you with water; but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.


2 Hearken to me, O Jacob, and thou Israel whom I call: I am he, I am the first, and I am the last.


8 See my abjection and my labour; and forgive me all my sins.


4 My servant Caleb, who being full of another spirit hath followed me, I will bring into this land which he hath gone round: and his seed shall possess it.


0 The Lord answered: I will make a covenant in the sight of all. I will do signs such as were never seen upon the earth, nor in any nation: that this people, in the midst of whom thou art, may see the terrible work of the Lord which I will do.


5 If you shall beget sons and grandsons, and abide in the land, and being deceived, make to yourselves any similitude, committing evil before the Lord your God, to provoke him to wrath:


3 And when he sent you from Cadesbarne, saying: Go up, and possess the land that I have given you, and you slighted the commandment of the Lord your God, and did not believe him, neither would you hearken to his voice:


And I will write on the tables the words that were in them, which thou brokest before, and thou shalt put them in the ark.


And returning from the mount, I came down, and put the tables into the ark, that I had made, and they are there till this present, as the Lord commanded me.


Who can stand before the face of his indignation? and who shall resist in the fierceness of his anger? his indignation is poured out like fire: and the rocks are melted by him.


5 And Moses said: If thou thyself dost not go before, bring us not out of this place.
