0 And his disciples asked him, saying: Why then do the scribes say that Elias must come first?


7 And it came to pass the day following, when they came down from the mountain, there met him a great multitude.


8 But he answered: It is not the cry of men encouraging to fight, nor the shout of men compelling to flee: but I hear the voice of singers.


Be mindful therefore from whence thou art fallen: and do penance, and do the first works. Or else I come to thee, and will move thy candlestick out of its place, except thou do penance.


In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of unbelievers, that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not shine unto them.


0 And I took the book from the hand of the angel, and ate it up: and it was in my mouth, sweet as honey: and when I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.


And he gave him the covenant of circumcision, and so he begot Isaac, and circumcised him the eighth day; and Isaac begot Jacob; and Jacob the twelve patriarchs.


1 For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and giveth life: so the Son also giveth life to whom he will.


7 But he beckoning to them with his hand to hold their peace, told how the Lord had brought him out of prison, and he said: Tell these things to James, and to the brethren. And going out, he went into another place.


3 And they were more than forty men that had made this conspiracy.


Every valley shall be filled; and every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and the crooked shall be made straight; and the rough ways plain;


4 And coming to his disciples, he saw a great multitude about them, and the scribes disputing with them.


5 And rejoicing in their feasts, when they had now taken their good cheer, they commanded that Samson should be called, and should play before them. And being brought out of prison he played before them, and they made him stand between two pillars.


9 And when he had lifted up his shield towards the city, the ambush that lay hid, rose up immediately: and going to the city, took it and set it on fire.


I know that the Lord hath given this land to you: for the dread of you is fallen upon us, and all the inhabitants of the land have lost all strength.


8 And Jesus answering, said to them: Are you come out as to a robber, with swords and staves to apprehend me?


8 And they measured by the measure of a gomor: neither had he more that had gathered more: nor did he find less that had provided less: but every one had gathered, according to what they were able to eat.


And the people did what he had commanded, bringing the earrings to Aaron.


0 And I stood in the mount, as before, forty days and nights: and the Lord heard me this time also, and would not destroy thee.


It is not in man's power to stop the spirit, neither hath he power in the day of death, neither is he suffered to rest when war is at hand, neither shall wickedness save the wicked.


You shall kindle no fire in any of your habitations on the sabbath day.
