2 And he answered him: Let not my lord be offended: for thou knowest this people, that they are prone to evil.


6 I have seen an end to all persecution: thy commandment is exceeding broad.

9 And when he came nigh to the camp, he saw the calf, and the dances: and being very angry, he threw the tables out of his hand, and broke them at the foot of the mount:


5 And when Moses was gone up, a cloud covered the mount.


Who keepest mercy unto thousands: who takest away iniquity, and wickedness, and sin, and no man of himself is innocent before thee. Who renderest the iniquity of the fathers to the children, and to the grandchildren, unto the third and fourth generation.


8 Or of creeping things, that move on the earth, or of fishes, that abide in the waters under the earth:


And the Chaldeans shall come again, and fight against this city, and take it, and burn it with fire.
