6 And the people answered, and said: God forbid we should leave the Lord, and serve strange gods.


And I will send an angel before thee, that I may cast out the Chanaanite, and the Amorrhite, and the Hethite, and the Pherezite, and the Hevite, and the Jebusite.


3 And my angel shall go before thee, and shall bring thee in unto the Amorrhite, and the Hethite, and the Pherezite, and the Chanaanite, and the Hevite, and the Jebusite, whom I will destroy.


All the commandments, that I command thee this day, take great care to observe: that you may live, and be multiplied, and going in may possess the land, for which the Lord swore to your fathers.


4 Adore not any strange god. The Lord his name is Jealous, he is a jealous God.


9 But I know that the king of Egypt will not let you go, but by a mighty hand.


0 But come, and I will send thee to Pharao, that thou mayst bring forth my people, the children of Israel out of Egypt.


5 And Moses said: If thou thyself dost not go before, bring us not out of this place.


7 And the Lord said to Moses: Write these words by which I have made a covenant both with thee and with Israel.


5 And as soon as they came into the Jordan, and their feet were dipped in part of the water, (now the Jordan, it being harvest time, had filled the banks of its channel,)


And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord of hosts, that I will destroy the names of idols out of the earth, and they shall be remembered no more: and I will take away the false prophets, and the unclean spirit out of the earth.


1 And the Amorrhites, and the Chanaanits, and the Gergesites, and the Jebusites.


The Lord God of heaven, who took me out of my father's house, and out of my native country, who spoke to me, and swore to me, saying: To thy seed will I give this land: he will send his angel before thee, and thou shalt take from thence a wife for my son.


4 And the Lord looked upon him, and said: Go in this thy strength, and then shalt deliver Israel out of the hand of Madian: know that I have sent thee.


9 And to Heber were born two sons, the name of the one was Phaleg, because In his days the earth was divided; and the name of his brother was Jectan.
