9 Who are thy people and thy inheritance, whom thou hast brought out by thy great strength, and in thy stretched out arm.


9 But the triumpher in Israel will riot spare, and will not be moved to repentance: for he is not a mail that he should repent.


3 And he said to them: This is what the Lord hath spoken: To morrow is the rest of the sabbath sanctified to the Lord. Whatsoever work is to be done, do it: and the meats that are to be dressed, dress them: and whatsoever shall remain, lay it up until the morning.


7 And the children of Israel came into Elim, where there were twelve fountains of water, and seventy palm trees: and they encamped by the waters.


4 The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.


3 With all watchfulness keep thy heart, because life issueth out from it.


1 Let not the foot of pride come to me, and let not the hand of the sinner move me.


Let my doctrine gather as the rain, let my speech distil as the dew, as a shower upon the herb, and as drops upon the grass.


2 And said to me: Arise, and go down from hence quickly: for thy people, which thou hast brought out of Egypt, have quickly forsaken the way that thou hast shewn them, and have made to themselves a molten idol.


1 And the house of Israel called the name thereof Manna: and it was like coriander seed white, and the taste thereof like to flour with honey.


9 My lord. Thou didst ask thy servants the first time: Have you a father or a brother?


4 And I said to them: Which of you hath any gold? and they took and brought it to me: and I cast it into the fire, and this calf came out.


0 And Saul said to Samuel: Yea I have hearkened to the voice of the Lord, and have walked in the way by which the Lord sent me, and have brought Agag the king of Amalec, and Amalec I have slain.


6 And Samuel said to Saul: I will not return with thee, because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, and the Lord hath rejected thee from being king over Israel.


And when he had received them, he fashioned them by founders' work, and made of them a molten calf. And they said: These are thy gods, O Israel, that have brought thee out of the land of Egypt.
