To you, O priests, that despise my name, and have said: Wherein have we despised thy name? You offer polluted bread upon my altar, and you say: Wherein have we polluted thee? In that you say: The table of the Lord is contemptible.


4 He offered also the calf for sin: and when Aaron and his sons had put their hands upon the head thereof,


3 The cover of rams' skins dyed red, and the other cover of violet skins,


And he said to me: See thou do it not: for I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them that keep the words of the prophecy of this book. Adore God.


8 Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.


3 And to the church of the firstborn, who are written in the heavens, and to God the judge of all, and to the spirits of the just made perfect,


For if that former had been faultless, there should not indeed a place have been sought for a second.


0 And thou shalt take of his blood, and shalt put it upon the four horns thereof, and upon the four corners of the brim, and upon the crown round about: and thou shalt cleanse, and expiate it.


And they have said: The Lord shall not see: neither shall the God of Jacob understand.


If after two days ally man eat thereof, he shall be profane and guilty of impiety:


The Lord also said to Aaron:


4 And two little chains of the purest gold linked one to another, which thou shalt put into the hooks.


2 And thou shalt put them in both sides of the ephod, a memorial for the children of Israel. And Aaron shall bear their names before the Lord upon both shoulders, for a remembrance.


8 Hanging over the forehead of the high priest. And Aaron shall bear the iniquities of those things, which the children of Israel have offered and sanctified, in all their gifts and offerings. And the plate shall be always on his forehead, that the Lord may be well pleased with them.


0 Moreover for the sons of Aaron thou shalt prepare linen tunicks, and girdles and mitres for glory and beauty:


To wit, Aaron and his children, and thou shalt put mitres upon them: and they shall be priests to me by a perpetual ordinance. After thou shalt have consecrated their hands,


4 The veil, the ark, the bars, the propitiatory,


The mirth of timbrels hath ceased, the noise of them that rejoice is ended, the melody of the harp is silent.


The Lord said to him: Lo, now will I come to thee in the darkness of a cloud, that the people may hear me speaking to thee, and may believe thee for ever. And Moses told the words of the people to the Lord.


0 And they fastened it to the mitre with a violet fillet, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
