0 Moreover the Lord thy God will send also hornets among them, until he destroy and consume all that have escaped thee, and could hide themselves.


And all the congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness.


0 And when they were come to the banks of the Jordan, in the land of Chanaan, they built an altar immensely great near the Jordan.


For it is the day of the vengeance of the Lord, the year of recompenses of the judgment of Sion.


0 He hath not dealt with us according to our sins: nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.


8 Fear not, but remember what the Lord thy God did to Pharao and to all the Egyptians,


7 Because the Lord your God he is the God of gods, and the Lord of lords, a great God and mighty and terrible, a who accepteth no person nor taketh bribes.


8 And do that which is pleasing and good in the sight of the Lord, that it may be well with thee: and going in thou mayst possess the goodly land, concerning which the Lord swore to thy fathers,


8 And Jesus walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea (for they were fishers).


5 But if you will still do wickedly: both you and your king shall perish together.


The signs and works which he did in the midst of Egypt to king Pharao, and to all his land,


6 And he wrote all these things in the volume of the law of the Lord: and he took a great stone, and set it under the oak that was in the sanctuary of the Lord.


But thou shalt presently put him to death. It Let thy hand be first upon him, and afterwards the hands of all the people.


And they said to Samuel: Cease not to cry to the Lord our God for us, that he may save us out of the hand of the Philistines.


9 And after these things Josue the son of Null the servant of the Lord died, being a hundred and ten years old:


8 And you shall return, and shall see the difference between the just and the wicked: and between him that serveth God, and him that serveth him not.


4 Neither shall he that is near, say: I am feeble. The people that dwell therein, shall have their iniquity taken away from them.


And all Israel heard this report: Saul hath smitten the garrison of the Philistines: and Israel took courage against the Philistines. And the people were called together after Saul to Galgal.


0 Therefore I will give their women to strangers, their fields to others for an inheritance: because from the least even to the greatest all follow covetousness: from the prophet even to the priest, all deal deceitfully.


Speak to the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them: If a woman having received seed shall bear a man child, she shall be unclean seven days, according to the days of the separation of her flowers.


Five of yours shall pursue a hundred others, and a hundred of you ten thousand: your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.


All the labour of man is for his mouth, but his soul shall not be filled.


Then the king commanded to call together the diviners and the wise men, and the magicians, and the Chaldeans: to declare to the king his dreams: so they came and stood before the king.
