3 Only thou shalt take heed not to eat their blood, but pour it out on the earth as water.


7 All the assembly of the children of Israel shall keep it.


3 Moreover I shook my lap, and said: So may God shake every man that shall not accomplish this word, out of his house, and out of his labours, thus may he be shaken out, and become empty. And all the multitude said: Amen. And they praised God. And the people did according to what was said.


5 And the Lord appeared there in the pillar of a cloud, which stood in the en try of the tabernacle.


Thou shalt lend to many nations, and thou shalt borrow of no man. Thou shalt have dominion over very many nations, and no one shall have dominion over thee.


If a fire breaking out light upon thorns, and catch stacks of corn, or corn standing in the fields, he that kindled the fire shall make good the loss.


But if they do not contain themselves, let them marry. For it is better to marry than to be burnt.


3 Shouldst not thou then have had compassion also on thy fellow servant, even as I had compassion on thee?


And when the vessels were full, she said to her son: Bring me yet a vessel. And he answered: I have no more. And the oil stood.


7 Isaac answered: I have appointed him thy lord, and have made all his brethren his servants: I have established him with corn and wine, and after this, what shall I do more for thee, my son?


9 And let peoples serve thee, and tribes worship thee: be thou lord of thy brethren, and let they mother's children bow down before thee. Cursed be he that curseth thee: and let him that blesseth thee be filled with blessings.


His master shall bring him to the gods, and he shall be set to the door and the posts, and he shall bore his ear through with an awl: and he shall be his servant for ever.


0 And if he take another wife for him, he shall provide her a marriage, and raiment, neither shall he refuse the price of her chastity.


And the ground shall bring forth its increase, and the trees shall be filled with fruit.
