You shall pursue your enemies, and they shall fall before you.


And shall bear his iniquity, because he hath defiled the holy thing of the Lord, and that soul shall perish from among his people.


And he blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.


But you shall offer sacrifice in fire to the Lord seven days. And the seventh day shall be more solemn, and more holy: and you shall do no servile work therein.


5 Do not any unjust thing in judgment, in rule, in weight, or in measure.


5 Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread. Seven days shalt thou eat unleavened bread, as I commanded thee, in the time of the month of new corn, when thou didst come forth out of Egypt: thou shalt not appear empty before me.


And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made: and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had done.


9 Yet thou, in thy many mercies, didst not leave them in the desert: the pillar of the cloud departed not from them by day to lead them in the way, and the pillar of fire by night to shew them the way by which they should go.


0 So the merchants, and they that sold all kinds of wares, stayed without Jerusalem once or twice.


0 His watchmen are all blind, they are all ignorant: dumb dogs not able to bark, seeing vain things, sleeping and loving dreams.


And I went down into the potter's house, and behold he was doing a work on the wheel.


Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying:


5 Six days shall you do work: in the seventh day is the sabbath, the rest holy to the Lord. Every one that shall do any work on this day, shall die.


And Moses said to all the assembly of the children of Israel: This is the word the Lord hath commanded, saying:


7 The Lord also said to Moses:


Their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are unprofitable thoughts: wasting and destruction are in their ways.


Arise, and go down to the potter's house, and there thou shalt hear my words.


8 And I had brought them into the land, for which I lifted up my hand to give it them: they saw every high hill, and every shady tree, and there they sacrificed their victims: and there they presented the provocation of their offerings, and there they set their sweet odours, and poured forth their libations.
