9 And Moses fled upon this word, and was a stranger in the land of Madian, where he begot two sons.


5 And he stood and blessed all the assembly of Israel with a, loud voice, saying:


They were hungry and thirsty: their soul fainted in them.


And I said to the king: If it seem good to the king, and if thy servant hath found favour in thy sight, that thou wouldst send me into Judea to the city of the sepulchre of my father, and I will build it.


The perverse way of a man is strange: but as for him that is pure, his work is right.


And the child's sister said to her Shall I go and call to thee a Hebrew woman, to nurse the babe ?


And Pharao's daughter said to her. Take this child and nurse him for me: I will give thee thy wages. The woman took, and nursed the child: and when he was grown up, she delivered him to Pharao's daughter.


7 Therefore thus saith the Lord: You have not hearkened to me, in proclaiming liberty every man to his brother and every man to his friend: behold I proclaim a liberty for you, saith the Lord, to the sword, to the pestilence, and to the famine: and I will cause you to be removed to all the kingdoms of the earth.


And she conceived, and bore a son; and seeing him a goodly child hid him three months.
