9 You know, my dearest brethren. And let every man be swift to hear, but slow to speak, and slow to anger.


4 Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, recovered strength from weakness, became valiant in battle, put to flight the armies of foreigners:


5 Which in his times he shall shew who is the Blessed and only Mighty, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;


2 And when he had looked about this way and that way, and saw no one there, he slew the Egyptian and hid him in the sand.


He said to them: Hear my words: if there be among you a prophet of the Lord, I will appear to him in a vision, or I will speak to him in a dream.


7 This is that Moses who said to the children of Israel: A prophet shall God raise up to you of your own brethren, as myself: him shall you hear.


2 And she bore him a son, whom he called Gersam, saying: I have been a stranger in a foreign country. And she bore another, whom he called Eliezer, saying: For the God of my father, my helper hath delivered me out of the hand of Pharao.


0 Moses therefore took his wife, and his sons, and set them upon an ass: and returned into Egypt, carrying the rod of God in his hand.


And Moses said: I will go and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.


4 The cloud also of the Lord was over them by day when they marched.
