1 eep therefore the precepts and ceremonies and judgments, which I command thee this day to do.


Therefore when you are passed over the Jordan, set up the stones which I command you this day, in mount Hebal, and thou shalt plaster them with plaster:

And all the congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness.

5 If you shall beget sons and grandsons, and abide in the land, and being deceived, make to yourselves any similitude, committing evil before the Lord your God, to provoke him to wrath:


5 And you shall serve the Lord your God, that I may bless your bread and your waters, and may take away sickness from the midst of thee.


It is a faithful saying: and these things I will have thee affirm constantly: that they, who believe in God, may be careful to excel in good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.


9 And do you therefore love strangers, because you also were strangers in the land of Egypt.


2 But the wheat, and other winter corn were not hurt, because they were lateward.


Who is this King of Glory? the Lord who is strong and mighty: the Lord mighty in battle.


Now I praise you, brethren, that in all things you are mindful of me: and keep my ordinances as I have delivered them to you.


8 His sneezing is like the shining of fire, and his eyes like the eyelids of the morning.


Thou shalt not have strange gods in my sight.


7 By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered Isaac: and he that had received the promises, offered up his only begotten son;


All the nations are assembled together, and the tribes are gathered: who among you can declare this, and shall make us hear the former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, let them be justified, and hear, and say: It is truth.


6 Thou shalt fan them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them: and thou shalt rejoice in the Lord, in the Holy One of Israel thou shalt be joyful.


7 The troubles of my heart are multiplied: deliver me from my necessities.


7 And Samuel turned about to go away: but he laid hold upon the skirt of his mantle, and it rent.


9 And after these things Josue the son of Null the servant of the Lord died, being a hundred and ten years old:


7 Sion shall be redeemed in judgment, and they shall bring her back in justice.


8 But may he incline our hearts to himself, that we may walk in all his ways, and keep his commandments, and his ceremonies, and all his judgments which he commanded our fathers.


Blessed shalt thou be coming in and going out.


2 Come, let us take wine, and be filled with drunkenness: and it shall be as to day, so also to morrow, and much more.


0 And they saw the God of Israel: and under his feet as it were a work of sapphire stone, and as the heaven, when clear.


1 And they have built the high places of Topeth, which is in the valley of the son of Ennom, to burn their sons, and their daughters in the fire: which I commanded not, nor thought on in my heart.


2 See therefore that you fulfil the ceremonies and judgments, which I shall set this day before you.


Every man praying or prophesying with his head covered, disgraceth his head.


6 And thou shalt buy with the same money whatsoever pleaseth thee, either of the herds or of sheep, wine also and strong drink, and all that thy soul desireth: and thou shalt eat before the Lord thy God, and shalt feast, thou and thy house:


4 Correct me, O Lord, but yet with judgement: and not in fury, lest thou bring me to nothing.


From the sole of the foot unto the top of the head, there is no soundness therein: wounds and bruises and swelling sores: they are not bound up, nor dressed, nor fomented with oil.


And over it were the cherubims of glory overshadowing the propitiatory: of which it is not needful to speak now particularly.


8 Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.


Again God said to Abraham: And thou therefore shalt keep my covenant, and thy seed after thee in their generations.


And Moses told all this to the children of Israel: but they did not hearken to him, for anguish of spirit, and most painful work.


4 And the Lord did so. And there came a very grievous swarm of flies into he houses of Pharao and of his servants, and into all the land of Egypt: and the land was corrupted by this kind of flies.


4 And turn not away from them neither to the right hand, nor to the left, nor follow strange gods, nor worship them.


7 And thou hast begun to bless the house of thy servant, that it may be always before thee: for seeing thou blessest it, O Lord, it shall be blessed for ever.


6 And taking of thy garments thou hast made thee high places sewed together on each side: and hast played the harlot upon them, as hath not been done before, nor shall be hereafter.


0 And they have not known to do the right thing, saith the Lord, storing up iniquity, and robberies in their houses.


And if there remain ten men in one house, they also shall die.


2 Beware thou never join in friendship with the inhabitants of that land, which may be thy ruin:


But only for his kin, such as are near in blood, that is to say, for his father and for his mother, and for his son, and for his daughter, for his brother also,


And returning from the mount, I came down, and put the tables into the ark, that I had made, and they are there till this present, as the Lord commanded me.


And thou shalt build there an altar to the Lord thy God, of stones which iron hath not touched,


0 I will not stir him up, like one that is cruel : for who can resist my countenance?


9 The cities of the south are shut up, and there is none to open them: all Juda is carried away captive with an entire captivity.
