And being consummated, he became, to all that obey him, the cause of eternal salvation.


Be not led away with various and strange doctrines. For it is best that the heart be established with grace, not with meats; which have not profited those that walk in them.


But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed by the father:


8 There is neither Jew nor Greek: there is neither bond nor free: there is neither male nor female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus.


3 Now it is not written only for him, that it was reputed to him unto justice,


5 And they asked him, and said to him: Why then dost thou baptize, if thou be not Christ, nor Elias, nor the prophet?


4 And he cried, and said: Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, to cool my tongue: for I am tormented in this flame.


2 And he said to them: Go and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I am consummated.


0 Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein were done the most of his miracles, for that they had not done penance.


2 And the Lord said to Moses: Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and the law, and the commandments which I have written: that thou mayst teach them.


And Moses wrote all the words of the Lord: and rising in the morning he built an altar at the foot of the mount, and twelve titles according to the twelve tribes of Israel.


5 He said to them: Be ready against the third day, and come not near your wives.


Thou shalt not have strange gods before me.


The Lord also said to Aaron:


4 And the ark of God remained in the house of Obededom three months: and the Lord blessed his house, and all that he had.
