Let the charity of the brotherhood abide in you.


And that great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, who seduceth the whole world; and he was cast unto the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.


And the fifth angel sounded the trumpet, and I saw a star fall from heaven upon the earth, and there was given to him the key of the bottomless pit.


And no man was able, neither in heaven, nor on earth, nor under the earth, to open the book, nor to look on it.


And he set up a testimony in Jacob: and made a law in Israel. How great things he commanded our fathers, that they should make the same known to their children:


1 Shalt thou be able to join together the shining stars the Pleiades, or canst thou stop the turning about of Arcturus?


1 And the people stood afar off. But Moses went to the dark cloud wherein God was.


2 And thou shalt appoint certain limits to the people round about, and thou shalt say to them: Take heed you go not up into the mount, and that ye touch not the borders thereof: every one that toucheth the mount dying he shall die.


6 Only in the land of Gessen, where the children of Israel were, the hail fell not.


9 Write therefore the things which thou hast seen, and which are, and which must be done hereafter.


0 Astonishing and wonderful things have been done in the land.


1 Light is risen to the just, and joy to the right of heart.


0 For all the beasts of the woods are mine: the cattle on the hills, and the oxen.


From the day that I brought my people out of the land of Egypt, I chose no city among all the tribes of Israel, for a house to be built in it to my name: neither chose I any other man, to be the ruler of my people Israel.


And the Lord called Moses, and spoke to him from the tabernacle of the testimony, saying:


9 And they knew not till the flood came, and took them all away; so also shall the coming of the Son of man be.


4 And Moses came down from the mount to the people, and sanctified them. And when they had washed their garments,


8 And all mount Sinai was on a smoke: because the Lord was come down upon it in fire, and the smoke arose from it as out of a furnace: and all the mount was terrible.


0 And the Lord came down upon mount Sinai, in the very top of the mount, and he called Moses unto the top thereof. And when he was gone up thither,


4 You shall make an altar of earth unto me, and you shall offer upon it your holocausts and peace offerings, your sheep and oxen, in every place where the memory of my name shall be: I will come to thee, and will bless thee.


0 And shewing mercy unto many thousands, to them that love me, and keep my commandments.


5 He shot arrows and scattered them: lightning, and consumed them.


1 Out of thee shall come forth one that imagineth evil against the Lord, contriving treachery in his mind.


5 The enemies of the Lord have lied to him: and their time shall be for ever.
