1 And they found an Egyptian in the field, and brought him to David: and they gave him bread to eat, and water to drink,


5 May hear that thou hast killed so great a multitude as it were one man and may say:


7 And when they were come, and had assembled the church, they related what great things God had done with them, and how he had opened the door of faith to the Gentiles.


9 They sought therefore to take him; and he escaped out of their hands.


The neighbours therefore, and they who had seen him before that he was a beggar, said: Is not this he that sat and begged? Some said: This is he.


8 And casting him forth without the city, they stoned him; and the witnesses laid down their garments at the feet of a young man, whose name was Saul.


4 Command the whole people to separate themselves from the tents of Core and Dathan and Abiron.


6 And the Lord said to Moses: Gather unto me seventy men of the ancients of Israel, whom thou knowest to be ancients and masters of the people: and thou shalt bring them to the door of the tabernacle of the covenant, and shalt make them stand there with thee,


And they set forward from Elim, and all the multitude of the children of Israel came into the desert of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai: the fifteenth day of the second month, after they came out of the land of Egypt.


8 And the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord, when I shall be glorified in Pharao, and in his chariots and in his horsemen.


Go ye into his gates with praise, into his courts with hymns: and give glory to him. Praise ye his name:
