3 The Lord your God drying up the waters thereof in your sight, until you passed over: As he had done before in the Red Sea, which he dried up till we passed through :

8 And a fire was kindled in their congregation: the flame burned the wicked.


2 For an inheritance to his servant Israel: for his mercy endureth for ever.


4 And the thickets of the forest shall be cut down with iron, and Libanus with its high ones shall fall.


2 And I sent before you hornets: and I drove them out from their places, the two kings of the Amorrhites, not with thy sword nor with thy bow.
