0 Speak to the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them: When you shall have entered into the land which I will give you, and shall reap your corn, you shall bring sheaves of ears, the firstfruits of your harvest to the priest:


1 nd the tenth of a tenth, to every lamb, that is to say, to all the seven lambs:


6 So it was always: by day the cloud covered it, and by night as it were the appearance of fire.


1 And Moses called all the ancients of the children of Israel, and said to them: Go take a lamb by your families, and sacrifice the Phase.


5 And laid it down before the feet of the apostles. And distribution was made to every one, according as he had need.


And the holocaust that the prince shall offer to the Lord on the sabbath day, shall be six lambs without blemish, and a ram without blemish.


5 And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another: Manhu! which signifieth: What is this! for they knew not what it was. And Moses said to them: This is the bread, which the Lord hath given you to eat.


6 And as they led him away, they laid hold of one Simon of Cyrene, coming from the country; and they laid the cross on him to carry after Jesus.


And he questioned him in many words. But he answered him nothing.


3 And when the sixth hour was come, there was darkness over the whole earth until the ninth hour.


9 And they struck his head with a reed: and they did spit on him. And bowing their knees, they adored him.


6 And the soldiers led him away into the court of the palace, and they called together the whole band:


And Pilate answered them, and said: Will you that I release to you the king of the Jews?


3 And they came to the place that is called Golgotha, which is the place of Calvary.


8 And stripping him, they put a scarlet cloak about him.

0 You shall not eat any thing leavened: in all your habitations you shall eat unleavened bread.


0 And all the children of Israel did as the Lord had commanded Moses and Aaron.


And the Lord said to Moses: Behold I will rain bread from heaven for you: let the people go forth, and gather what is sufficient for every day: that I may prove them whether they will walk in my law, or not.


You have seen what I have done to the Egyptians, how I have carried you upon the wings of eagles, and have taken you to myself.


And being sanctified kill the phase, and prepare your brethren, that they may do according to the words which the Lord spoke by the hand of Moses.

2 It is a sacrifice to the Lord, by perpetual oblation unto your generations, at the door of the tabernacle of the testimony before the Lord, where I will appoint to speak unto thee.


4 I will sanctify also the tabernacle of the testimony with the altar, and Aaron with his sons, to do the office of priesthood unto me.


5 Loose, saith he, thy shoes from off thy feet: for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Josue did as was commanded him.
