7 They were stoned, they were cut asunder, they were tempted, they were put to death by the sword, they wandered about in sheepskins, in goatskins, being in want, distressed, afflicted:


0 And Pharao arose in the night, and all his servants, and all Egypt: for there was not a house wherein there lay not one dead.


2 Your sheep and herds take along with you, as you demanded, and departing, bless me.


And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron:


2 And they every one cast down their rods, and they were turned into serpents: but Aaron's rod devoured their rods.


8 And a mixed multitude without number went up also with them, sheep and herds and beasts of divers kinds, exceeding many.


And he took six hundred chosen chariots, and all the chariots that were in Egypt: and the captains of the whole army.


Whereupon the workmen being constrained to come,


5 The table, with the vessels thereof, and the loaves of proposition:


The first month, the first day of the month, thou shalt set up the tabernacle of the testimony,


And shalt put the ark in it, and shalt let down the veil before it:


What the ground shall bring forth of itself, thou shalt not reap: neither shalt thou gather the grapes of the firstfruits as a vintage: for it is a year of rest to the land:


Next unto him they of the tribe of Issachar encamped, whose prince was Nathanael, the son of Suar.


an the firstfruits also, which the children of Israel offer, belong to the priest:


6 And one half was given to them that had been in the battle, to wit, three hundred thirty-seven thousand five hundred sheep:


6 And out of the sixteen thousand persons,


2 In weight sixteen thousand seven hundred and fifty sicles, from the tribunes and from the centurions.


Moses my servant is dead: arise, and pass over this Jordan, thou and thy people with thee, into the land which I will give to the children of Israel.


After which, the heralds went through the midst of the camp,


3 And forty thousand fighting men by their troops, and bands, marched through the plains and fields of the city of Jericho.


0 The Lord therefore hath granted me life, as he promised until this present day. It is forty and five years since the Lord spoke this word to Moses, when Israel journeyed through the wilderness: this day I am eighty-five years old,


But David and all Israel played before the Lord on all manner of instruments made of wood, on harps and lutes and timbrels and cornets and cymbals.


0 He arose, and went to Sarephta. And when he was come to the gate of the city, he saw the widow woman gathering sticks, and he called her, and said to her: Give me a little water in a vessel, that I may drink.
