5 To execute judgment upon all, and to reprove all the ungodly for all the works of their ungodliness, whereby they have done ungodly, and of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against God.


Saying: Where is his promise or his coming? for since the time that the fathers slept, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.


3 Receiving the reward of their injustice, counting for a pleasure the delights of a day: stains and spots, sporting themselves to excess, rioting in their feasts with you:


2 This man went to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus.


1 Who also when he was in Galilee followed him, and ministered to him, and many other women that came up with him to Jerusalem.


3 And coming out of the tombs after his resurrection, came into the holy city, and appeared to many.


6 Make straight the path for thy feet, and all thy ways shall be established.


5 And they devoured all the grass in their land, and consumed all the fruit of their ground.


4 And be astonished at the terror of those things which thy eyes shall see:


5 And the hail destroyed through all the land of Egypt all things that were in the fields, both man and beast: and the hail smote every herb of the field, and it broke every tree of the country.


2 And some indeed reprove, being judged:


1 There are many words that have much vanity in disputing.


1 For when a man laboureth in wisdom, and knowledge, and carefulness, he leaveth what he hath gotten to an idle man: so this also is vanity, and a great evil.


6 Yet they tempted, and provoked the most high God: and they kept not his testimonies.


3 But as for me, when they were troublesome to me, I was clothed with haircloth. I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer shall be turned into my bosom.


And they had hair as the hair of women; and their teeth were as lions:


1 And the fishes that were in the river died: and the river corrupted, and the Egyptians could not drink the water of the river, and there was blood in all the land of Egypt.


5 When I shall have made the land of Egypt desolate: and the land shall be destitute of her fulness, when I shall have struck all the inhabitants thereof: and they shall know that I am the Lord.


5 Not one of the men of this wicked generation shall see the good land, which I promised with an oath to your fathers:


9 Know therefore this day, and think in thy heart that the Lord he is God in heaven above, and in the earth beneath, and there is no other.


9 In six troubles he shall deliver thee, and in the seventh, evil shall not touch thee.
