6 And the day following, he shewed himself to them when they were at strife; and would have reconciled them in peace, saying: Men, ye are brethren; why hurt you one another?


If the spirit of him that hath power, ascend upon thee, leave not thy place: because care will make the greatest sins to cease.


7 But he that did the injury to his neighbour thrust him away, saying: Who hath appointed thee prince and judge over us?


1 And thou shalt feast in all the good things which the Lord thy God hath given thee, and thy house, thou and the Levite, and the stranger that is with thee.


2 He gave them hail for rain, a burning fire in the land.


For the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me: and I have seen their affliction, wherewith they are oppressed by the Egyptians.


1 And Moses said to God: Who am I that I should go to Pharao, and should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?


8 And they shall hear thy voice: and thou shalt go in, thou and the ancients of Israel, to the king of Egypt, and thou shalt say to him: The Lord God of the Hebrews hath called us: we will go three days' journey into the wilderness, to sacrifice unto the Lord our God.


5 But whithersoever they meant to go, the hand of the Lord was upon them, as he had said, and as he had sworn to them: and they were greatly distressed.
