2 That we may be unto the praise of his glory, we who before hoped Christ:


2 That is to say, that I may be comforted together in you, by that which is common to us both, your faith and mine.


6 But rise up, and stand upon thy feet: for to this end have I appeared to thee, that I may make thee a minister, and a witness of those things which thou hast seen, and of those things wherein I will appear to thee,


8 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Then they desired him to tarry with them some days.
