5 But if you will not forgive men, neither will your Father forgive you your offences.


6 As vinegar to the teeth, and smoke to the eyes, so is the sluggard to them that sent him.


For thus saith the Lord to the eunuchs, They that shall keep my sabbaths, and shall choose the things that please me, and shall hold fast my covenant:


7 But thou, when thou fastest anoint thy head, and wash thy face;


4 For they are lost with very great affliction: he hath begotten a son, who shall be in extremity of want.


7 And Abraham answered, and said: Seeing I have once begun, I will speak to my Lord, whereas I am dust and ashes.


1 Doth a fountain send forth, out of the same hole, sweet and bitter water?


0 A covetous man shall not be satisfied with money: and he that loveth riches shall reap no fruit from them: so this also is vanity.


Every way of a man seemeth right to himself: but the Lord weigheth the hearts.


1 And I shall return prosperously to my father's house: the Lord shall be my God:


0 The house of Aaron hath hoped in the Lord: he is their helper and their protector.


2 I beseech thee, saith he, be not angry, Lord, if I speak yet once more: What if tell should be found there ? And he said: I will not destroy it for the sake of ten.


0 Lord, saith he, be not angry, I beseech thee, if I speak: What if thirty shall be found there? He answered: I will not do it, if I And thirty there.


5 And when he saw her, he rent his garments, and said: Alas! my daughter, thou hast deceived me, and thou thyself art deceived: for I have opened my mouth to the Lord, and I can do no other thing.


1 And he said to them: Come apart into a desert place, and rest a little. For there were many coming and going: and they had not so much as time to eat.


Then Jacob went on in his journey, and came into the east country.


And of its blood he shall sprinkle the side of the altar, and whatsoever is left, he shall let it drop at the bottom thereof, because it is for sin.


9 For laughter they make bread, and wine that the living may feast: and all things obey money.


0 Detract not the king, no not in thy thought; and speak not evil of the rich man in thy private chamber: because even the birds of the air will carry thy voice, and he that hath wings will tell what thou hast said.
