9 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread till thou return to the earth, out of which thou wast taken: for dust thou art, and into dust thou shalt return.


1 For his eyes are upon the ways of men, and he considereth all their steps.


4 And all things that are done, God will bring into judgment for every error, whether it be good or evil.


7 The words of the wise are heard in silence, more than the cry of a prince among fools.


A good name is better than precious ointments: and the day of death than the day of one's birth.


Better is a handful with rest, than both hands full with labour, and vexation of mind.


Alleluia. Give glory to the Lord, and call upon his name: declare his deeds among the Gentiles.


4 Thou wilt frighten me with dreams and terrify me with visions.


0 Many shall be chosen, and made white, and shall be tried as fire: and the wicked shall deal wickedly, and none of the wicked shall understand, but the learned shall understand.


A psalm for Asaph. The God of gods, the Lord hath spoken: and he hath called the earth. From the rising of the sun, to the going down thereof:


How long will you throw out words? understand first, and so let us speak.


8 And the Lord said to him: Take Josue the son of Nun, a man in whom is the Spirit, and put thy hand upon him.


7 And the years of Ismael's life were a hundred and thirty-seven, and decaying he died, and was gathered unto his people.


And decaying he died in a good old age, and having lived a long time, and being full of days: and was gathered to his people.


9 I was the brother of dragons, and companion of ostriches.


1 Bless the Lord, all ye his hosts: you ministers of his that do his will.


Be not quickly angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of a fool.


5 Thou shalt call me, and I will answer thee: to the work of thy hands thou shalt reach out thy right hand.


9 Waters wear away the stones, and with inundation the ground by little and little is washed away: so in like manner thou shalt destroy man.
