9 For God indeed was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, not imputing to them their sins; and he hath placed in us the word of reconciliation.


If thou know not thyself, O fairest among women, go forth, and follow after the steps of the flocks, and feed thy kids beside the tents of the shepherds.


And Jesus came and touched them: and said to them, Arise, and fear not.


A time of love, and a time of hatred. A time of war, and a time of peace.


Before the silver cord be broken, and the golden fillet shrink back, and the pitcher be crushed at the fountain, and the wheel be broken upon the cistern,


he spoke to them in the pillar of the cloud. They kept his testimonies, and the commandment which he gave them.


5 Far be it from thee to do this thing, and to slay the just with the wicked, and for the just to be in like case as the wicked, this is not beseeming thee: thou who judgest all the earth, wilt not make this judgment.


1 And I saw a great white throne, and one sitting upon it, from whose face the earth and heaven fled away, and there was no place found for them.


And they prevailed not, neither was their place found any more in heaven.


4 I write not these things to confound you; but I admonish you as my dearest children.


And when Silas and Timothy were come from Macedonia, Paul was earnest in preaching, testifying to the Jews, that Jesus is the Christ.


5 In those days Peter rising up in the midst of the brethren, said: (now the number of persons together was about an hundred and twenty:)


0 I cannot of myself do any thing. As I hear, so I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not my own will, but the will of him that sent me.


And the Lord said to him: Call his name Jezrahel: for yet a little while, and I will visit the blood of Jezrahel upon the house of Jehu, and I will cause to cease the kingdom of the house of Israel.


2 Blessed is he that waiteth and cometh unto a thousand three hundred thirty-five days.


But they that are learned shall shine as the brightness of the firmament: and they that instruct many to justice, as stars for all eternity.


3 But let it not be well with the wicked, neither let his days be prolonged, but as a shadow let them pass away that fear not the face of the Lord.


I heaped together for myself silver and gold, and the wealth of kings, and provinces: I made me singing men, and singing women, and the delights of the sons of men, cups and vessels to serve to pour out wine:


I made gardens, and orchards, and set them with trees of all kinds,


0 Who died for us; that, whether we watch or sleep, we may live together with him.


Let them be all confounded that adore graven things, and that glory in their idols. Adore him, all you his angels:
