7 For when he shall die he shall take nothing away; nor shall his glory descend with him.


3 O forgive me, that I may be refreshed, before I go hence, and be no more.


9 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written: I will catch the wise in their own craftiness.


8 Now if God clothe in this manner the grass that is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more you, O ye of little faith?


6 And I said that wisdom is better than strength: how then is the wisdom of the poor man slighted, and his words not heard?


He hath not seen the sun, nor known the distance of good and evil:


0 If one fall he shall be supported by the other: woe to him that is alone, for when he falleth, he hath none to lift him up.


A time to rend, and a time to sew. A time to keep silence, and a time to speak.


Laughter I counted error: and to mirth I said: Why art thou vainly deceived?


0 Nothing under the sun is new, neither is any man able to say: Behold this is new: for it hath already gone before in the ages that were before us.


In my affliction I called upon the Lord, and I cried to my God: And he heard my voice from his holy temple: and my cry before him came into his ears.


8 Again I hated all my application wherewith I had earnestly laboured under the sun, being like to have an heir after me,


A time to be born and a time to die. A time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted.
