Bless the Lord, O my soul, and never forget all he hath done for thee.


2 But there shall be the seed of peace: the vine shall yield her fruit, and the earth shall give her increase, and the heavens shall give their dew: and I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these things.


Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord, neither had the word of the Lord been revealed to him.


1 And said to his son: I am not deprived of seeing thee: moreover God hath shewed me thy seed.


Now Isaac was old, and his eyes were dim, and he could not see: and he called Esau, his elder son, and said to him: My son? And he answered: Here I am.


1 And they opened their mouth wide against me; they said : Well done, well done, our eyes have seen it.


3 But I, as a deaf man, heard not : and as a dumb man not opening his mouth.
