6 For God so loved the world, as to give his only begotten Son; that whosoever believeth in him, may not perish, but may have life everlasting.


Before the sun, and the light, and the moon, and the stars be darkened, and the clouds return after the rain:


6 And hath placed there the hungry; and they made a city for their habitation.


2 And let them exalt him in the church of the people: and praise him in the chair of the ancients.


3 We cannot find him worthily : he is great in strength, and in judgment, and in justice, and he is ineffable.


5 Dost thou know when God commanded the rains, to shew his light of his clouds?


And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, and is grieviously tormented.


And Jesus stretching forth his hand, touched him, saying: I will, be thou made clean. And forthwith his leprosy was cleansed.


2 And he said to them: Take me up, and cast me into the sea, and the sea shall be calm to you: for I know that for my sake this great tempest is upon you.


4 I have seen all things that are done under the sun, and behold all is vanity, and vexation of spirit.
