7 And I said in my heart: God shall judge both the just and the wicked, and then shall be the time of every thing.


9 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread till thou return to the earth, out of which thou wast taken: for dust thou art, and into dust thou shalt return.


And I made me ponds of water, to water therewith the wood of the young trees,


But if any man have not care of his own, and especially of those of his house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.


Do not consider me that I am brown, because the sun hath altered my colour: the sons of my mother have fought against me, they have made me the keeper in the vineyards: my vineyard I have not kept.


Be not hasty to depart from his face, and do not continue in an evil work: for he will do all that pleaseth him:


6 And I applied my heart to know wisdom, and to understand the distraction that is upon earth: for there are some that day and night take no sleep with their eyes.


1 And if two lie together, they shall warm one another: how shall one alone be warmed?


A time to rend, and a time to sew. A time to keep silence, and a time to speak.


A time to weep, and a time to laugh. A time to mourn, and a time to dance.


3 Thy eyes shall behold strange women, and thy heart shall utter perverse things.


2 He that hath found a good wife, hath found a good thing, and shall receive a pleasure from the Lord. He that driveth away a good wife, driveth away a good thing: but he that keepeth an adulteress, is foolish and wicked.


The words of the double tongued are as if they were harmless: and they reach even to the inner parts of the bowels. Fear casteth down the slothful: and the souls of the effeminate shall be hungry.


4 Be not delighted in the paths of the wicked, neither let the way of evil men please thee.


He hath sent redemption to his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever. Holy and terrible is his name:


The children of the merchants have not trodden it, neither hath the lioness passed by it.


8 I said in my heart concerning the sons of men, that God would prove them, and shew them to be like beasts.


5 I saw all men living, that walk under the sun with the second young man, who shall rise up in his place.


Before the sun, and the light, and the moon, and the stars be darkened, and the clouds return after the rain:


Treat thy cause with thy friend, and discover not the secret to a stranger:
