And there went out another horse that was red: and to him that sat thereon, it was given that he should take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another, and a great sword was given to him.


It is a faithful saying: and these things I will have thee affirm constantly: that they, who believe in God, may be careful to excel in good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.


And I will scatter them with a fan in the gates of the land: I have killed and destroyed my people, and yet they are not returned form their ways.


For he hath satisfied the empty soul, and hath filled the hungry soul with good things.


6 Let fear and dread fall upon them, in the greatness of thy arm: let them become unmoveable as a stone, until thy people, O Lord, pass by: until this thy people pass by, which thou hast possessed.


1 The tabernacle also and all the vessels of the ministry, in like manner, he sprinkled with blood.


2 By which her rich men were filled with iniquity, and the inhabitants thereof have spoken lies, and their tongue was deceitful in their mouth.


And now, O Lord, thou art our father, and we are clay: and thou art our maker, and we all are the works of thy hands.


And I will give thee hidden treasures, and the concealed riches of secret places: that thou mayest know that I am the Lord who call thee by thy name, the God of Israel.

Go ye into his gates with praise, into his courts with hymns: and give glory to him. Praise ye his name:


I will open my mouth in parables: I will utter propositions from the beginning.


Then the king said to me: For what dost thou make request? And I prayed to the God of heaven,


6 Blessed be the Lord, who hath given rest to his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed so much as one word of all the good things that he promised by his servant Moses.


8 And now, O Lord God, thou art God, and thy words shall be true: for thou hast spoken to thy servant these good things.


4 Butter of the herd, and milk of the sheep with the fat of lambs, and of the rams of the breed of Basan: and goats with the marrow of wheat, and might drink the purest blood of the grape.


3 And shall put off the raiment, wherein she was taken: and shall remain in thy house, and mourn for her father and mother one month: and after that thou shalt go in unto her, and shalt sleep with her, and she shall be thy wife.


0 In the sight of the Lord thy God shalt thou eat them every year, in the place that the Lord shall choose, thou and thy house.


0 With stones shall he be stoned to death: because he would have withdrawn thee from the Lord thy God, who brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage:


And returning from the mount, I came down, and put the tables into the ark, that I had made, and they are there till this present, as the Lord commanded me.


3 And he will love thee and multiply thee, and will bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy vintage, thy oil, and thy herds, and the flocks of thy sheep upon the land, for which he swore to thy fathers that he would give it thee.


2 Beware thou never join in friendship with the inhabitants of that land, which may be thy ruin:


6 For how shall we be able to know, I and thy people, that we have found grace in thy sight, unless thou walk with us, that we may be glorified by all people that dwell upon the earth?


And I made an ark of setim wood And when I had hewn two tables of stone like the former, I went up into the mount, having them in my hands.


4 And the cities, which the Philistines had taken from Israel, were restored to Israel, from Accaron to Geth, and their borders: and he delivered Israel from the hand of the Philistines, and there was peace between Israel and the Amorrhites.


8 But may he incline our hearts to himself, that we may walk in all his ways, and keep his commandments, and his ceremonies, and all his judgments which he commanded our fathers.


2 They remembered not his hand, in the day that he redeemed them from the hand of him that afflicted them:


She that hath borne seven is become weak, her soul hath fainted away: her sun is gone down, while it was yet day: she is confounded, and ashamed: and the residue of them I will give up to the sword in the sight of their enemies, saith the Lord.


Beth. He hath set me in dark places as those that are dead for ever.


7 I cast the tables out of my hands, and broke them in your sight.


The voice of the Lord divideth the flame of fire:


Arise, O my glory, arise psaltery and harp: I will arise early.
