Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with thy whole heart, and with thy whole soul, and with thy whole strength.


4 And thou shalt have joy and gladness, and many shall rejoice in his nativity.


Often have they fought against me from my youth: but they could not prevail over me.


6 And if they sin against thee (for there is no man that sinneth not) and thou be angry with them, and deliver them up to their enemies, and they lead them away captive to a land either afar off, or near at hand,


And all Israel heard this report: Saul hath smitten the garrison of the Philistines: and Israel took courage against the Philistines. And the people were called together after Saul to Galgal.


3 If thou dost this, thou shalt fulfil the commandment of God, and shalt be able to bear his precepts: and all this people shall return to their places with peace.


0 That when thou hast eaten, and art full, thou mayst bless the Lord thy God for the excellent land which he hath given thee.


2 Lest after thou hast eaten and art filled, hast built goodly houses, and dwelt in them,


These are the precepts, and ceremonies, and judgments, which the Lord your God commanded that I should teach you, and that you should do them in the land into which you pass over to possess it:
