So Moses came and told the people all the words of the Lord, and all the judgments: and all the people answered with one voice: We will do all the words of the Lord, which he hath spoken.


2 And Gedeon the son of Joas died in a good old age, and was buried in the sepulchre of his father in Ephra of the family of Ezri.


2 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption, it shall rise in incorruption.


7 Remember what Amalec did to thee in the way when thou camest out of Egypt:


And the captains shall proclaim through every band in the hearing of the army: What man is there, that hath built a new house, and hath not dedicated it? let him go and return to his house, lest he die in the battle, and another man dedicate it.


8 And when after most diligent inquisition, they shall find that the false witness hath told a lie against his brother:


3 Children of Belial are gone out of the midst of thee, and have withdrawn the inhabitants of their city, and have said: Let us go, and serve strange gods which you know not:


3 many times did he deliver them. But they provoked him with their counsel: and they were brought low by their iniquities.


Not because you surpass all nations in number, is the Lord joined unto you, and hath chosen you, for you are the fewest of any people:

4 Inquire carefully and diligently, the truth of the thing by looking well into it, and if thou find that which is said to be certain, and that this abomination hath been really committed,
